Pollywog (Foamed Tail)

Pollywog is another name for Tadpole. The Pollywog tail is what makes this fly so attractive, the tail has amazing realistic movement in the water, and has a small section of foam added to the tail to aid in keeping the tail suspended off the bottom. Tied on a Curved shank hook, to also help the tail suspend off the bottom and stand straight up for easy consumption by ole' rubber lips. Tied with XS dumbbell eyes to get the fly down fairly quickly, but not too fast to spook the fish. Extra wide bead chain eyes like photo #1 can be substituted, just leave a note upon checkout. Grass Carp love these too in Chartreuse !
