Articulated Hellgraworm

Tied on a 60 degree or a 90 degree articulated mini jig shank for the head along with dumbbell eyes, it makes a great Hellgrammite imitation, and the articulated shank gives the tail a very enticing wiggle! The articulated shank is tied to a #1 or #2 - 26 degree bend Ahrex streamer hook, it's part hellgrammite and part worm, built for bass! This fly is roughly 3.5 inches long. Bounce the fly on or near the bottom, or just swing it, Smallmouth and Largemouth crush it ! Throw this fly with at least a 6 weight rod and above since the added shank adds weight to this fly.
