Mottled Polly Wog

Hands down my top carp producing fly by far! Pollywog is another name for Tadpole. The mottled Pollywog tail is what makes this fly so attractive, the tail has amazing realistic movement in the water, and the tail will stay suspended off the bottom. Tied on a strong Bonio carp hook, with XS dumbbell eyes to get the fly down fairly quickly, but not too fast to spook the fish.
